What is CryptoPepes?
CryptoPepes was a 2018 nft breeding and collecting game on ethereum where the initial supply of nfts had to be mined. There were plans to also make a battle style game and build its own blockchain called `pepchain` but these never eventuated. Today, CryptoPepes exist as collectible historical nfts and the first pepe pfp collection.

Breeding
In the past, you could breed your CryptoPepes. The look of new pepes depend on the genes of it's parents. Some characteristics are rarer than others but they make your pepe more valuable if they have them. No two CryptoPepes are the same.
Battling
Soon you will be able to battle other players in epic pepe battles. Choose your deck of pepes and compete in tournaments to show you are the pepe champion!
The strengths and weaknesses of your CryptoPepes will be determined by its DNA.
Mining
You could have earned PEP tokens and Gen 0 CryptoPepes by putting your computer to work during the CryptoPepes Rat Race! Approximately every 8 minutes a miner was rewarded 2500PEP tokens and every 16th block a miner would also get 100 DPEP tokens which could be exchanged for a GEN 0 CryptoPepes. Only 1100 GEN 0 Pepes will ever be created!
PEP, DPEP and CryptoPepes NFTs are 100% owned by you and stored in your personal wallet.
The CryptoPepes Rate Race 🐭 lasted for 3 months. After the 3 months 40 million PEP and 1000 Gen 0 CryptoPepes tokens would have been mined (100 pre-mined for team).
